Intro

This page acts as an onboarding hub for new participants of the Arbitrum DAO.

We suggest you join one of our “new contributors onboarding” calls. After you chat with us, you should be on track to becoming an active contributor to Arbitrum DAO!

Contribution Opportunities

1. Long-Term Incentives Pilot Program (LTIPP)

The Long Term Incentives Pilot Program (LTIPP) aims to distribute a maximum of 45M ARB over 12 weeks to protocols building on Arbitrum

2. LTIPP Research Bounties

The LTIPP Council will create RFPs for research bounties, specifying the research question and budget. Researchers will apply to claim bounties, and the DAO will select based on experience and proposed budget.

3. Gaming Working Group

The Gaming Working Group’s objective is to progress towards proposing, and eventually going to an on-chain vote, the Gaming Catalyst Program (GCP). GCP is a model to rapidly accelerate Arbitrum’s support for game builders and also strategically allocate funding and resources toward vetted experts to help accelerate the onboarding and go-to-market of the best builders in the gaming industry

4. Self-Voting Policy

Although it’s not an official part of the ArbitrumDAO Constitution, there was an informal understanding that “the community found no self-voting rule to be the fairest approach”. There’s an ongoing discussion around the idea of creating a formal policy regarding self-voting and conflict of interest.
